Hello everyone, just want to share my process of building a tank with a remote sump setup. Moving over from a 3 foot setup, I wanted to make a built in setup that would be easy to maintain and of course looks great and runs silently.

Here are some photos of what the house looked like before my reno, where the tank would go and where the sump would be at the back of the house

Hi, my tank is made by reef systems.

Some of the tank specs,

The tank is 2400mmx700mmx760mm (h) = ~1000 liters

The sump (6 ft) is running volume is around ~500 liters

My top off / salt mix tank (5 ft)  capacity is around  ~300 liters

Aiming for a system volume of 1500 liters / 400 gallon... And provision for salt mix capacity of 200 liters ~ 10% for water changes

Rock scape is done and the tank is up !

Still figuring out how to program the new hydra hd , using my old hydra 26 with the new 52 hd. It is sadly not compatible on the online interface and has to be programmed separately. The colour tone of the hydra hd is also much bluer and less purplish than the previous generation non hd. Hopefully I can start stocking it up soon!
