Aggressive clown?

Hi fellow reefers,

Recently i bought a clown which i think killed my blue tang and goby. But the clown is getting along well with my cleaner wrasse. Can help to id my clown and any advice?

Hi bro,

I think this looks like a clarkii clownfish? I could be wrong though.
These guys can be territorial in a smaller tank which result to aggression.

Im having a 16g nano tank. Is it enough to house this clown? Is it territorial due to my tank size?

Hmm, should be ok for the clown. How many other fishes are in that tank now?

Currently, just the clown n cleaner wrasse.

I don't think the clown will kill your blue tang, but rather it probably died from ich .

The tang was only a day old in my tank. Which makes it difficult for me to determine the cause of death. Next best thing i could think of is bullied.

Well could be a mix of different things. Could be stress from being in a new environment, then added stress from the clownfish, and maybe it wasn't already well from the LFS. So all factors combined resulted to its death.

Is it advisable to add any more fishes in? I really like the blue tang n wanna get another.

Blue tangs are ich magnet... Wouldnt get one if You don't qt it

Oh yeah i have actually heard that about tangs before.
if the clown is really annoying the wrasse also, maybe can consider isolating it when adding something new?

Gosh! So much work just to keep a fish. Hahaha.. 

So, its better to keep the current fishes as it is for awhile to monitor the ick and clown before adding any other fishes yea?

Yeah that sounds like a good plan. Good luck! Hope it's not Ich or if it is, hope your fishes will get past it.

Make sure the food has garlic to help with immune system.
