my advise is to change to 10KK bulb. u will see a difference.

Tried one recently...it successsfully wiped out my whole Q tank inhabitants with its ich whitespot problem before it joins them

How long have you had that birdnest on the right of the tank (that is turning white)? Is it dying? Good luck.

have it for months already

its turning white due to i place it too low causing the botton part to turn white

have shifted to higher place hoping that the condition will turn better

Hmm..those colonies with receding tissue you might want to frag it above the edge whereby the receding is occur. Frag it clean at the healthy tissue area and you might be able to save it.

Blue PL are not true actinics why dun go for FL or T5?

Andy, from the pic, I noticed 3 colonies that are more than 50-75% RTNed. Are you facing any problems with your water parameters or flow/circulation? Any idea why it's happening coz' the rest of your acros appear OK.
