Lighting for a 20g tank...

Now using 36w PL for my 20g Nano Tank... Thinking of changing the lighting to a better ones.. Planning to make it into a full sps tank(Dunnoe can do it anot for such a small tank)... Thinking of going for 4 x24w T5... Or should i go for a 150w MH...

No need for a MH. It will boil your tank if you don't have a chiller. Even if u use fans, imagine the evaporation rate.

Using MH will leave you with only 1 spectrum. You can blend your own spectrum using T5s. T5s consume less electricity too.

Wat is the depth and width of your tank?

Must see your bioload...if 1-2 fish alright..if more than that think you need a better skimmer...maybe a 2012 or 2013..esp if you want to try sps.. but if you got enough $$ get a AquaC remora? :look:

Dunno leh...but bigger the better. Lookout for second hands one..cheaper. If you get bigger models u will need bigger output pumps. Which means you get a higher turnover rate in your tank.
