Sugar dosing.

Today I have started sugar dosing due to my high level of no3 less den 100. Using salifert test kit. Will update more about it.

today the water started to be milky fishes all ok. skimmer still haven't really working hard.

no3.

Looks like possible bacteria bloom after dosing carbon. Hope your oxygen levels are ok with the bacteria population exploding!

is skimmer setting maxed out? Nitrates should drop as skimmer pulls out all that bacteria, usually skimate should increase after carbon dosing

my skimmer is skimz sh2 should be ok. rated to use for 200L tank. all the settling has being done =)

If viewing for the side, the value need to be divided by 10. 

What is the colour when comparing the test kit result from the chart when viewing from top.

From the view view it's the same results as I said.

Today's water is clear. Skimmer just pumping normal stuff out. Fishes all doing well.

yes, addition of sugar, vodka, vinegar are various methods of carbon dosing

Mine no3po4x seem to reduce to a limit only.. maybe will try sugar dosing..
