After viewing i notice you clear out all the sands.

Does it make it easier for you to control the algae in your tank? Personally i still feelthat with a fine level of sand it look nicer there a certain contrast.

another key advantages with BB tank you woint have issue of tank flying around.

Pretty amaze how AI prime can color up the tank of a 3 ft thank, height of the tank is critical right?

Zoas and SPS have different water requirement may i know how you strike the right balance? How your maintenance schedule like?

I like BB cos it easier to maintain and can have higher flow in the tank.

Here's some pic before the overflow box is install

For the lights, I set it at about 8" above the water level.

I feed the Zoas and SPS daily with oyster feast or Reef Roid and 10% Water change weekly.

I started using Mame Skimmer for my 25g AIO tank. It works great. Highly recommended for AIO tank.

It super silent, don't give off any heat, the collection cup is big so I don't have to clear every other day.

But due to the Bio load I have changed to Deltec 1456.

The additional outlet is for the reactor, but not using at the moment.

Yes, I got my 2nd Mame skimmer from Japan. At least don't need to order the air stone from oversea now.

SO i got ti right bare tank is easier to maintain cause the sand wont be flying around the tank..

If you turn the wave maker at high speed.

Plus nutrients and decompose organism won't get stuck in the sand, if fishes stir the sand up it will cost a algae bloom right?

I hope after so much reading i got it correct.

Like say if i want wanted to have sand will a one inch depth be sufficient ?

How did you install the overflow box? From the pic i can't really tell, how big is your pipeing size for both return and in are huge at least 4inch?

The main reason for going BB is less maintenance. Another reason is my tank is too small. Even with the lowest setting on my return it will cos a sand storm.

1" is more than enough, but the sand cannot be too fine.

I install the overflow box using the 40mm bulkhead and my return is 25mm.

here's the pic before install.

Thank you for your detail explanation how the over review of this overflow setup? Did you apply silicon at the side of the overflow after installation?

Lastly what the price?

Since you redo your tank why don't you do a internal triangle over flow panel and choose this instead?

No silicon, the bulkhead come with 'O' ring. I DIY the overflow box. It the bulkhead that is expensive, Total cost me about $80.
