Help with algae

Anyone can help on this algae and how to get rid of them? Always comes back when the lights is on. Tyvm

I think u on your light too long and too strong maybe. But green is good ?? Mine Is brown

Getting a Tang or Angel fish may help. Importantly you have to find out the root cause

i starting to have this lookalike flower green algae too, any advise on the root cause beside adding a fish.

PO4 - 0ppm

Lighting T5 Blue and Actinic 12hrs, with coral plus 2hrs.

Make sure DI water TDS reading is zero.

Do a massive water change with a good salt and the algae issues will go away, I've done the same to combat bubble algae and bryopsis issues.

Contaminants in budget salts are equally responsible for algae blooms than just nitrate and phosphate, they may seem fine in the beginning but prolonged use will lead to accumulation of such contaminants especially if you do not perform regular large water changes.

Try reducing your lighting period to 8 hours and monitor or shift it higher. The lighting period could be too long for your tank. What type of water are you using?
