Monster elegance overfeeding

Hi guys, quick question. I bought a healthy sized elegance from a nice bro about few weeks back and it's doing well in my nano. It was slightly more than palm sized when open. Then I recently added a clown who very happily hosted it almost immediately. I have had the clown for a few weeks and suddenly I noticed my elegance has grown to a monster size. Now it's easily almost 1 foot long....

After observing the tank, I realised my clown is sharing food with it every day!! I'm guessing that's why the elegance suddenly grew so huge. Will this be a problem? I'm worried that the accidental daily feeding will kill the coral instead. Should I remove my overly friendly clown? Thanks for the advice!
