Building a Sump need help

Hello guys, right now im working on my fish tank stand 120g. I have i think its a 50g tank I want to use that for my sump. There a shop somewhat close to my area that sale acrylic for 8.75 each sheet. My question is which way is better to set it up for my sump i did a very quick outline. what you guys think about it i will post it up in a min if it let me......48inch long and 14inch side

Your tank is probably made of glass. Acrylic will not bond to silicon. And acrylic glue will not bond glass. You will probably need to get glass sheets to make your sump. They should be in the same price range $10 per sheet.

Design wise, your design looks ok.

Hello, i have look around my area and call some place they quote around $100 to $230 just for 4 sheet 1/4 thickness of glass 12 1/4 by 16  and for the design should i need to change anything or change the size?
