My skimz rr113 went dead yday after 10 mths of usage. Lucky still under warranty. Thanks to the good people at AM. They had it fixed right away!!

Yup, the dc pump was spoilt.

Was bored so I uploaded an fts.

Finally shifted my compressor to the kitchen's service yard. Now less heat generated and trapped in the living hall.



Trunking to run beside my tank's cabinet.



And through my kitchen's ceiling.



The trunking will enter the service yard and goes to the end down where the compressor is placed on the ground beside my fridge, blowing the hot air out through the ventilation gaps.

Bro how far does you shift the compressor to? And what's the damage like?

As someone told me before the compressor distance too far mean won't be cold

Maybe to kitchen from living hall distance abt 5-6m. Cost ard $400+. Not true abt it not being cold. Tank temp still maintained as what's on ur settings.

If the average price of each of my sps colony is around $150, then u count how many colonies I have. Haha...

Great tank! Quick question. Doesn't look like you're using a titanium coil for a heat exchanger. What material is that and how do they calculate how much is needed?

I think mine is copper coil. I dunno how much is needed but the installation guys will know. But from what I see the coil is quite standard in size. Can be customize if u want to, my one is initially just the basic setup. I only shifted out my compressor to my kitchen at a later stage.

It is becoz of low ph?

In a way yes, dinos flourishes under low ph condition. I didn't check my ph then. Was battling low kh then due to my undersized cr. Then I think I overdosed something and dinos juz bloom.
