Hi guys, went to buy some live rock & found this..

any idea what this is? Looks like brain, but unlikely leh?

Yup I think it's a lobo. But it's in terrible state of health, looking at the tissue recession 

Any tips to nurse it back to health?

Hi guys, update: the lobo has re-inflated itself

still alot of tissue recession though, but it looks better than sat

Over time it maybe able to cure itself if it is well feed and taken care of.

Thanks for the encouragement! Am putting it on my sandbed, low light with mod flow.. Feeding it small pieces of frozen mysis every 2 days

What I'm still trying to understand is why it doesn't show any tentacles during feeding at all. Its mouth will slowly open to swallow the food, but no sign of feeder tentacles.. 

Hmm any idea why?

ya man, we should start a thd that asks reefers to share their pics of accidental adopted corals! Would be really interesting to see the various type of LPS you can adopt on live rock
