Which peaceful or semi aggressive fish / coral do you like most?

Hi guys! I'm placing an order for the IM Micro 40 gallons tank today! So excited! When the tank comes I'll like to stock it to be a colorful tank. Assuming I like a tank that has Blue Tang and perc clowns in it, I'm hoping for ideas on what other fish can go with it. I also have a pink Duncan and a luminous green tipped torch going in. Do post a pic if you can of your own favorite fish or coral!

My opinion might differ but i suggest you add what you really want to get before choosing others sub species, let your favorite fish be the focus first.

For example i will add 10 Yellow tang first and add other fish as calefare. (my tank)

Perhaps u might wana list out what are the LS u wana get? From there ppl reading this thread may advise.. Else u might need to do some reading in regards to the type of fishes or corals u might wana add.. Like their preferred water conditions as well as their diet.

Hi @Neutral, that is actually a good suggestion. Here's what I have in my current tank which I am porting over.

Fish:

1 Blue Tang (2")

1 Sailfin Desjardini Tang (2")

1 Hector's Goby (1.5")

Corals:

1 mixed Zoas colony (Palm sized rock, green ones and red ones)

1 mixed luminous green cloves and golden cloves

1 Pink Duncans (4 heads)

1 luminous green tipped torch (5 heads)

1 golf ball sized purple goniopora with green centre

To add to the list, I am thinking of getting

Fish:

Dwarf Flame Angel

Yellow Wrasse or Candy Hogfish

4 True Percula Clowns

1 Royal Gramma

Corals:

Blue bubble coral

Millie

Radioactive Birdnest

Zoas colony (orange ones)

Golden Hammer

Or Golden Octogen Coral

Yep that's all I can think of. That's why I said I need ideas. Hahaha
