PRIZM skimmer

This whole morning, my skimmer is not skimming as the bubble foams is not reaching higher into the conical area of the collection cup. Is this a normal 'problem' ? Last night, it was still ok as I removed about 1cm of yellowish water this morning. Added some NH4 absorber to the sump yesterday. My skimmer water inlet flow is already max liao.

hmmm... I have no idea how a Prizm skimmer works... perhaps you can go back to the person who sold you this for advice?

Try adjusting the flow rate of your skimmer.. Play with the control valve..

HI Just taken a pix here, try adjust your flow rate to the arrow shown here. Its take time for the gunk to build up and be collected. Your skimmer can't be producing gunk 24hrs a day non-stop.

Thanks for the pics. My control valve is already set to max (pointing in same direction as the tube). Hope it's a case of more run-in needed and for the foam to slowly climb up the conical area to the top opening. What's yr view.
