bro.

my clam keep closing dun open up cos once open de cleaner wrasse go and disturb it.

if clam keep closing will effect any damage? :thanks:

I got one cleaner wrasses too.. but luckily never disturb my clam so far...

clam shouldn't keep closing too often.. definitely not healthy... They will end up shrink smaller and smaller.. Probably, relocate them... I think they step in wrasses territory...If not you have to seperate them...

Jaw-dropping giant clams from Samoa appear at Extreme Corals DE

This Samoan clam bears all the hallmarks of a Tridacna 'maxea' and it is flanked by a typical blue Tridacna maxima color morph that is often seen from Cook Islands.

This clam is mostly Tridacna squamosa but the blue speckled inner mantle is more often seen in Crocea and Maxima clams

This clam might be regarded as a blue squamosa but it also bears some features of a high quality blue maxima.
