Hi

I am also a AI 26 user and I am still learning how to control the settings as well.

I have taken reference from the AI thread in RC.

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=23700643&highlight=hydra+26#post23700643

Basically something like this

Royal blue & deep blue:
1100 = 1%
1200 = 48%
1300 = 75%
1500 = 90%
1720 = 95%
2000 = 90%
2130 = 80%
2250 = 5%
2350 = 3%
0130 = 1%

Whites:
1330 = 0%
1500 = 30%
1550 = 45%
1800 = 55%
2000 = 45%
2100 = 30%
2120 = 0%

Violet:
1330 = 0%
1530 = 40%
1730 = 50%
2000 = 40%
2100 = 0%

Green & Red:
1330 = 0%
1530 = 30%
1730 = 35%
1930 = 30%
2030 = 0%

UV:
1050 = 0%
1340 = 5%
1620 = 15%
1800 = 20%
2000 = 10%
2100 = 3%
2300 = 0%

I am following Zibba's controls on RC for my 2' 2' 1.5'. I have also tuned down the whites with a maximum of ~40

I ran my both my Blues at 90, Whites at 80, V at around 60ish, UV at 30-40 ish and Red and Green at 35 - 15 ish. Ramp up at down at 2-3 hours.

With my Blues and Whites at those figures or ratios is probably closer to 14k look. I lower down the whites to 45 in the evening to get the 20K colour.

I'm still playing with the rest of the colours but they are lesser than the whites.

Mine is fairly new tank so corals not much. I have torch, hammer, blasto, candy cane, shrooms and zoas.

I find that my corals love it when crank up the whites. My whites will peak for about 2-3 hours with a 1:1 ratio with the blues. That will give you the 14k spectrum. Then it will ramp down to 2:1 ratio with the blues for a 20k color for the rest of the day.

What's yours?

Can't see the parameters very clearly.

Regarding Peak values. Could you state the numbers?

UV ~ 25%

Violet ~ 100%

Deep Blue ~ 100%

Royal Blue ~ 90%?

Green ~ 10%?

Red ~ 10%

White ~?

Also, what kind of LPS are you planning to keep? Some are more sensitive than others.

I would also suggest to use the acclimatize feature as some of your numbers (eg. Violet) are on the high side. Sudden introduction to high light can lead to bleaching (my painful personal experience)

its good to use the acclimatizing mode, another way you can use cloud mode which i have been using.

bare in mind the frequency and % on cloud mode does kick in pretty often which may result in corals having insufficient lighting also.

LED light is a bit different from other light like T5HO and MH.

In order to ensure you provide the right spectrum and intensity of light

to your marine organism you need to understand a little bit more about

light in nature ,under the sea and what led provide.

Below is a link I find very informative
