Cleaner shrimp die after minutes in tank

Recommended Posts

u can try acclimatizing ur shrimps in this way:

1) soak the bag containing the shrimp in ur tank for about 1/2 hr.

2) slowly release the shrimp into ur tank from the highest part of ur aquascape.

this method works for me! hope it helps.

Hmm...recently just got 2 CS from P*rad*z R**fz

I place the CS into a small container together with the water from the bag. Then slowly add in water from my main tank. After 1/2 hr slowly add them into my main tank.

Been very active till now...feeding well too.

My 2 cents

Its something in the water. Do a full battery of tests and you should find your culprit.

Or its either poor acclimatization or a predation or aggression.

I bought additional CS from Bio-Oc**n last and immediately put them inside my main tank. No acclimitszing. Now, very much alive and sometimes steal food from the corals after I fed the corals. When I put my hand in the water, they starts to nimble my hands looking for some bugs.
