Hi all, I would to ask any Reefer wash/clean their biomedia after a certain period?As I have seen my BactKing n marinepure block got dirty(brownish) in my sump n had a temptation to take out n wash/clean but fear of an upset..pls advice n share ur experience..:)

I use tank water to rinse the bio media (placed in bag) once a month as part of water change regime. Same for marine pure block.
