yeah I undertsnad what you mean....when I upgraded it cost me a bomb to get this new set up and I am still buying and buying....didn't mean to say that my tank is expensive or anything but cost alot of money to up keep it as well.....

anyone knows how much does the dymax replacement tubes cost? white or blue?

since someone has oredi comfirmed that it is not actinic blue, dun think i will be getting it, pointless, i rather go for FLs, e.g. zoomed coral sun. coz at least i know for sure that it is true actinic blue.

so AP, r u able to tell me? and hv u used true actinic lights (FL or T5) b4? can spot any difference btw the dymax T5s from what i hv mentioned?

Nic a john....said the Dymax T5 is marine blue but acthinic and marine blue can be deceiving in terms of color and spectrum. No....I have not tried anykind of T5's before as this is the first time trying out a 2 ft one for my sump refigium. I have an Arcadia FL thats acthinic and the comparison is almost the same. Will test out more tonight.....and will confirm with you again.....
