overflow of skim sv223

Hi all, Anyone using this protein skimmer. Had been running for 3 days. It seems OK for the first two hr. Then the Skimmer start to over flow..like really over flow non stop.

Try to switch the dc pump to the lowest, and open up the air valve to no avail.

Try closing the air valve but the overflow seem Even faster.

Anyone can help?

Try lift up the skimmer, water in the skimmer body think is 6-7inch then u adjust the water level n play with the air intake.

Meaning the water inside the body is too full?

He meant the water level in which the skimmer is in. Read the instructions for the skimmer .. they have a recommended water level height.

Bro magnet, skimmer need to be adjust to the right position for them to break it. I used skimz and bm both also need a certain position and water level. You can either use egg crate or buy a daiso basket to place underneath to lift the skimmer up.

Thanks every one. It stated the Best position is 180-240.

My position is 260. Will try find something to life it up.
