It has been a long time since I last posted anything here. I first posted my 2 footer more than 10 years ago

Now, I'm into my 3rd tank.

This was what I had back in 2009.

Sharing some of the coral pics. These are taken back in 2009. Looking back at my 2 footer, it was great to see how my corals have grown over 5 years.

Then came my 2-year overseas posting in the middle east. Tank was neglected and lost a lot of my gems.

This was the most recent shot taken in 2013 before the next big disaster. In 2013, some of these corals have been with me for > 10 years. The pink tip octo, red mushroom, candy cane .. these were all from my 2 footer.

Later in 2013 ... disaster, my tank gave way and started leaking. Many thanks to Henry for helping me host my corals and fishes while I construct my new tank.

What a great growth of coral.. Mind sharing how you keep it bro? Dosing or anything else?

Then the moment of truth, went over to Henry's to pick up whatever is left of my corals. Sadly, none of my fishes survived, my bad, took me a while to setup the new tank.

I can't remember when I started using dosing pump, maybe around 2012.

For the most part of my reefing, I've used traditional methods. Plenty of live rocks, good water circulation, good lights (was using MH for the longest time before I switched to Orphek LED), calcium reactor, fluidise reactor and skimmer. That's all. Just have to be very very patient and wait till the tank is really mature. Then enjoy.

Red lobo, quite badly bleached when I took it back (14 July 2014)

Today (1 June 2015). Wow almost one year later. In this hobby, you got to be very very patient. Corals will return to their former glory but must give them a lot of tender loving care.

Today, fully restored. Although I lost one head, again my bad. I let at rogue red mushroom overwhelm the lobo. Heart pain ....

Some managed to thrive at Henry's place. Kudos to Henry. First my candy cane. Started with 4-5 heads in my 2 footer, now it has grown to ... i dunno how many. Used to be one big bouquet, but it broke into 4 pieces when I shipped it to Henry's place for temporary storage. Another die die must restore coral.
