Yea, but must be fast, including the old water, but only if your water parameters, health of your old tank is good. If not then I suggest to start everything afresh!

if you have the space, you can cycle some water with your media in a big bucket/container. so when your new tank arrives, just transfer them over. may help to reduce some cycling time but not recommended

Anyway - about the lighting..

Any bro here can enlighten me between T5 and LED - how is the electricity consumption comparison, cost, etc..

My plan is will be LPS dominant with Goniopora, Hammer, Torch and Frogspawn..

I saw few articles that T5 is better - so thinking getting ATI 4X39w dimmable power module. Is it enough coverage?

If LED i think i will go for Maxspect Razor 180w...

Performance will be subjective. Running cost, T5 will be higher in terms of electricity n tube replacement. For lps, maxspect razor is rather proven and able to bring out lps colour.

Other than maxspect razor.. for 3 feet tank will 1 AI Hydra 52 or Radion XR30w pro enough? or i need 2 of those?

Base on the spec, they only support 2ft. If u place high, possible but loose intensity and u might need long hook. Depending on yr scaping, u can consider getting one and supplement by t5(2tubes).

usually when we use led we dont max its output at 100%.

however there are very few reefers who hangs their led high up and set a high output to maximize the value.
