I am lucky, my seahorse are eating frozen food :)

As this is my 1st attempt keeping seahorse, I am doing more reading from the internet to make sure I know how to keep them well.

Just to share another close up video of the male seahorse:

As the seahorse are eating frozen food, it is definitely much easier in keeping them :)

I have decided to make another attempt to set up a new Seahorse tank. After doing more research work, I am more confident that I should be successful this time round !

Will keep all posted in this thread on the new seahorse tank for 2018 :)

thanks for sharing your Seahorse experience bro. IME they are some of the hardest species to keep alive(kinda like mandarins that don’t eat prepared foods)unless you have a very well-established refugium to grow lots of pods as food for them in the Long-term. I have one now and it’s been doing well for 3 months now with no signs of starving but I had to setup an external refugium just for it to maintain it cause it wouldn’t even eat frozen food

Waiting for your new seahorse tank update.

It is definitely a challenge to keep Seahorse and perhaps Mandarin. First thing first is need a mature tank as well as with all the live food (Live Pod, Live BBS and perhaps Live Rotifer). Of course, best is to be able to train or buy Seahorse already accustomed to frozen food.

I am still not ready to kick-start my 2nd attemp for the Seahorse project in view of time  and commitment required. I want to make sure a good success and continuity for my 2nd attemp.
