Hi shi fus,

I'll like to know if pink light or blue light or white light aids the growth of coralline algae? and also by regular addition of calcium and kalkwasser helps also?

which combination of lights is better? your own preferences?

1)white-white

2)white-blue

3)white-pink

4)blue-pink

The combination of colour is not as impt as the intensity of the light.

And do give ur tank good water circulation which do helps coralline algae to grow. Do not forget the necessary calcium additive...

It has been noted that blue light tends to be more favourable for coralline algae growth, barring all other factors like good water parameters and circulation.

Buy a calcium test kit. if your ca level is below 380ppm, you need to dose ca. supplement.
