Props for tank

Hello, has anyone tried making DIY props or commissioned certain props for their aquascaping? Looking at trying something a little different!

For example, what are aquarium safe products and foam to use or avoid etc.

Thought about it before. Wanted to put a mangrove root look alike. Like those freshwater designs they used to have at aqua empire, opposite Ng couple. Never got about doing it eventually....im not sure if those artificial designs can be used for saltwater. But I reckon it should be safe. How much silicate it contains, I got no idea.

Ahh okay. thanks! I was thinking more of like making like building props for ruins/old buildings. But i will defo check out his tank. thanks!
