I have been measuring my sg frequently using a reflectometer.. Recently instead of going up due to evaporation, the Sg drop.. When I change water adjust back to 1.025, nxt day reduce to 1.023 again..

Anyone encounter before? Any advise?

Sg reading is affected by temperate in water. Does the refractometer has auto temperature compensation ? If I didn't remember wrongly most refractometer needs to be calibrated once in a while. Try taking the reading with the same temperature
