Hi I know most of you are using either T5 or LEDs, but does any old-timer know where I can find Iwasaki MH bulb? I need 150w DE 6500K. Tks

Hi Bro Chriscoral, I have recently switched back to using MH lightings.

Still find that MH lightbulbs are the best!

Although I prefer ratings at 150w 20,000k, as it has more blue in its spectrum, I would like to learn more too from you, as I'm still new to marine rearing. Can I know why you looking for Iwasaki MH 150w 6500k bulb? Is it a better choice for marine? Can teach me? Thanks.

For others brand of bulbs 150w, 250w, 400w (single/double ends) you can get it from aquamart (aquamedic ). They shifted to the same place as G.O, the coffin shop side. Aquatechnic used to have 150w germans bulbs but they have just closed down.

Low kelvin bulb, you can get it from any lighting shop that particularly deals with industrial lighting MH etc..

or if not u go straight to osram spore, any kinds of bulbs to tubes that u need it osram have it.. Sorry, missed out u mentioned 6500k bulb. For water plants bulb are the same too (yellow warm colour)..

After nine months of using a China MH bulb fr Odyssea, I must say I hv no complaints. It gives good results when paired with ATI blues. Will stick to China make - only 60 bucks!! Am using a 15k colour.
