I think buy/sell forum in SRC is not the same as your typical consumer/shops relationship. People selling stuff here are not with the sole intention of making money like commercial entities. So if they reserve stuff for you out of goodwill and didnt ask you for deposit, the goodwill is expected back for the buyer to honour it. Thats why you can see some bros are "scare" of pilots so they have to get deposits or payment first before reserving. You definitely have the right to choose and I guess sellers have the right to choose who to deal with too.
