SRC Member inwear Posted January 4, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted January 4, 2016 Yes. It will consume your clam from the bottom. Speaking from personal experience. Cheers

alvin
I think it is called a Yeti crab. Quite easy to remove, it just stayed there when I lowered my net. It is strong enough to move your rocks and rearrange them or any corals. I have seen my lift up a 500g rock. How about mantis shrimp? I am always having a problem with that. How do you get rid of your hitch-hikers. I heard soaking the LR in salinity of 0.040 helps flush them out but haven tried.
SRC Member tuajia Posted January 5, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted January 5, 2016 From discussions on another thread, one of the bros here found success by spraying the holes with extra cold freshwater.
