Hi bro, this was initially a FOWLR tank when I set up 10 mths ago until I fully converted to reef about 5 mths ago...therefore...the current setup is about 5 mths..

I bot salt mix water from LFS for water change...

must be very siong, all these water change thingy. why not mix yourself with salt mix and invest in a RO/DI filtration?

Hi bro, LFS neither sell or filter nsw...they usually will premix salt with water and sell to consumers...

Just a close-up views of my corals (added a bubble coral yesterday)..

Just to introduce this product call "Chemiclean"

A couple of weeks ago my tank encountered red cyanobacteria bloom..this product comes in a powder form and usage is 1 spoonful for 40L of water.

After using one time, within 48 hours, all the red slime disappeared, at the same time did a 20% WC.

Ever since then, until now, no sign of cyano surfaces.

I can frankly say have encountered failure in the beginning..as time goes by..do a lot of research and study..slowly and eventually manage to stabilise my system..

No bro..they are artificial...initially was a beginner so dare not put real ones...just put artificial...anyway I am letting them go..store them in my cupboard already..

Hmm...I have a spare 2ft tank (60cm L x 45cm W x 50cm H) with cabinet and Eheim canister actually...still thinking whether should I set up my 4th marine tank...hmm...

if I really do...I plan to setup a Butterflyfish FOWLR tank..hmm...

Bro, surprisingly I can see my blue sponge is growing slowly over time..i realise the growth is coming from the top tips

And my copperband loves going near it...

Oh this spotted mandarin turns out to be quite aggressive. It keeps on bullying the green mandarin..tot different breeds of mandarins are not aggressive towards each other? So I decided to put him in the HOB fuge where there should be quite a substantial amount of pod colony there..should be sufficient for it to sustain.of coz gotta consider the DT as well...therefore still hv to top up pods at least every week or fortnight...
