anybody here knows how to make a i-box or overflow system?coz i need help from any of you guys to do it for me.

I strongly recommend you get Ian to custom build one for you. Its no joke if you get it wrong. Water water everywhere.....if you know what I mean.

i got one from Ian not long ago, tested it and it serve me well, nice flow and hardy. just make sure tat u drill a small hole at the return pipe just below the water level to prevent back flow or u will flood ur house like me

I gave my Ibox dimensions to an acrylic maker at kaki bukit. Charge me $25 only for 2mm thickness box.

it's just 2 small boxes. How thick do you want?! .. anyway plastics are suppose to be much stronger than glass. And I guess you can request for thicker ones..

u may wanna try the overflow pipe concept which was posted here not too long ago. do a search on it. i m sure u can find it.

Hi five for fighting, I'm Ian.

I understand that you might find my I~Box too expensive, but have you actually checked the other siphon boxes in the market? It's an average of US$90.00 without postage. Locally another shop is selling at $169.00. The difference compared to all the other brands is that mine is silent and the flow is fast and no bubbles gets trap in the siphon tube. And at $121.50, I don't see how my I~Box is expensive.

I've done allot of designs in the past and improved it allot. I did it from scratch and not copied wholesale. The amount of testing with different designs to ensure that it is right and every possible improvement was being made. Imagine the amount of time, money, petrol, tools and all I have to bare.

Till this date I have gone over the 100th I~Box I've made and if you can see my first version and the one now, you would see the vast difference in every way.

If you still feel that it is still expensive for you it's ok. Just wanted to let you know the amount of time, money and work I had to put into the design and production of my I~Box.

I personally think that 2mm is way too thin. It's rather risky. Acrylic is very strong but it needs to be of a certain thickness for the appropriate project. The joining of a 2mm thick acrylic is not strong. The surface area to join is just too little.

Just my opinion.

the reviews on that design is very bad. lots of problems and flooding. it a cpr design.go reefcentral and check. i wanted to do but don't want to flood my flor. wife will kill me!
