Red Bubble Algae?

I think these are red bubble algae, and its growing on the foot of my effla coral.

Are they considered "bad" algae and need to be removed?

Its hard to remove the whole LR and so I may have to pluck it while in water.

Worried if it will release spores/seeds when plucked underwater.

Anyone can advise on this algae?
