No one can guaranty. It also depends your tank size. And Black ocellaris is more aggressive. Unless the 2 pair already trained. If not, you need slowly introduce and monitor them. Cheers

My black ocellaris is always chasing my maroon clown when ever they meet, in a 4ft tank. I think personally i would not try 2 pairs in a 2 1 1. Unless maybe a vast size difference? as i tried adding in a tiny sabae clown(twice the size smaller) and they all left the sabae alone. Just my 2cents

You can give it a shot although I have no luck. Started with 5 - 6 ocellaris but once 1 pair appeared, they bullied the rest till I have to give the rest up. Now this pair cannot tolerate any clown, even maroon because they are spawning on regular basis. Even the owner's hand is not spared when he cleans the tank every weekend ~~~ irritating...haha

Regards,
Jeff

I have added 2 more black ocellaris which is slighty bigger then my 2 orange in my tank, and have been monitoring for 6hrs. So far so good. I don't see and bullied from the black. they are very excited, swimming up and down, left and right of my tank. onli sometimes my 2 orange following behind them. hopefully this kind of relationship will last.

Good to hear that. Means there is people that have done it.

today morning I on the lights only 1 wake up. The other 3 very lazy.

The darker color clownfish in the picture is not Black ocellaris. They are same normal orange ocellaris genus.Normally this type are less aggressive as mention earlier. Cheers

U mean that is also orange? That means I buy wrongly. I thought is black. Cos I read when small they will be dark brown But will turn darker when they grow bigger. I thought they are those with black and white strips but with orange nose.

This certainly not Black ocellaris and not Juvenile as well. Cheers
