I used to run this box using the washing machine hose.

Hahaha washing machine hose? Kk thanks. How about any hardware store? Should have ready parts? No need to do like custom threading or anything like that rite?

Any hardware shop should have. It can be cut to fix different outlet. If unclear, ask the shop owner. Pretty straight forward.

I also have a skimz overflow but but went with a PVC pipe instead - I glued a schedule80 1" PVC pipe into this bulkhead of the skimz box.

But if i were to do this again, i'd just go with a washing machine hose (fastened via cable tie) since this is not a pressurized flow.

No matter what hose/pipe you going to use, please secure it. You don't want your sump to be emptied.
