How is H&S skimmer compare to Marine Source

Any one used the above and how is the performance difference? The price of H&S is about 30% higher.

BTW, who in Singapore carry H&S and who carry Marine Source? Any other good brand to recommend?

I recommend H & S as it is a german product that u can trust

and had a higher resale value

no comments on the difference in performance btw the 2. but can help by telling u H&S is carried by seali*e in balestier and Marine Sources by Octopus Bay in Roxy Square.

Does a good protein skimmer really cost that much? or is it the high markup? I'm a little amuse that a few pieces of plastic/acrylic cost $600-1000.

Anyone knows lobang for mail order and get cheaper price?

patrick 123, u can try gathering up a few reefers that r interested in the skimmer which u want e.g. H&S or Marine source and do a bulk order. the individual bosses might give u discount for that.

Good idea. Any one interested in getting a H&S (medium size) skimmer? I believe the flow rate is upto 1000L.

hi patrick, I guess the price lies not in the raw materials but in the technology. you pay for something which is not physical but for which you can benefit from the effects.

i will be getting an AquaC - when I feel the price is right to me - maybe from the states or something. as for now....just have to stick to weipros and macros....

H&S does not have 1000l skimmer but they definitely have more than 1000l ones.. SeaL**e using 1200l for their show tank.. i just bought a 1500l one...
