Sand turning black

Its Hydrogen Sulphide, and usually occurs in Deep Sand Bed (DSB) due to insufficient movement within the sand. Do a google search on it and u will know what i mean...

Get a sand shifting star fish. Have them stir up my sand bed haha ... Or just siphon it with gravel cleaner during water changes, try not to siphon the whole sand bed at once, heard it is to leave some copepods be left untouched.

p.s I am quite new at this might have said something wrong, correct me if I did haha

Unless you have the need to cater to certain species ..... You don't need such a deep sand bed.

Heard can denitrify the tank haha. To what extend Is it true? O.o

It will release bubble into the water,and it smell like roten egg,i use the siphon pipe, dig in and siphon all the black sand out.Thank god, no casualty.

Only sun coral in my tank,yes its doing fine...
