Hi all reefers, currrently my sps are growing fast and some are starting to touch one another. Would like to get some advice on how you guys propagate them. Thanks in advance!

Just cut it?

yes. just cut it. nothing is impossible.

on a serious note:

1) make sure you have some glue, frag base (if you are not gluing it to rock).

2) then trim from the base of the colony (less obvious and those bottom sticks are used to less light)

3) glue the frag, then place the frag at lower light lower flow areas for one or few days

4) keep your fingers crossed

Step 5. After fragging, pass them to me. HAHA!

Good to hear your SPS is growing well bro superbee! Oh BTW bro, use those wire cutter pliers. Does it easier and cleaner.

Also, for thicker branches. You can use e tip of the cutter to nip of about 1/3 e diameter of the branch. It will be easier to break it and you will still be able to frag it neatly. Cutting the whole branch requires more effort and risk breaking other parts of the colony down or upstream
