Ok, i think you are referring to the colour of your test kit results.

Maybe you can translate into figures from the instruction manual that comes with the test kit. Give the numbers and it will be easier for the experts to give you advice.

I also use the Aqumedi a test kit to determine carbonate hardness. 8 drops into 5ml. of aquarium water and the solution turn yellow means your carbonate hardness is about 8 dKh. ie. each drop b4 and when it changes from blue to yellow is supposed to mean 1 dKH. You should not let your carbonate hardness fall below 9dKH but not more than 14dKh.
