No it won't be assuming that you are talking about a 13 amp wall socket.

I use to have two 400W MH, two 110W VHO and an Iwaki MD40 pump on one socket without problem.

Base on 230V and current rating of 13Amps, the maximum load is about 3000W. However don't base on the 400W indicated on your appliances. Add another 20% for the losses due to heat etc.

Eg:

MH Lights = 2 x 400W = 800W + (20%) losses = 960W

T5 lights = 4 x 56W = 224W + (20%) losses = 269W

Chiller = 1/2HP = 375W + (20%) losses = 450W

Total power = 1680W

Total current = 7.5A

Still Ok ....

Chiller always have high start up current of about 10 times the running current. So must give some allowance. Try not to load the plug to more than 10Amps or 2300W if there is a chiller connected.

of coz else how u going to plug so many things into one socket...

but just take note that 1 socket can support up to 13A which is 3000Watt.. and also depend on how many socket are share to the main source...

So let say u got 3 sockets in your wall but 3 socket are share to one main source, therefore total watt use for the 3 socket must not total up to 3000 watt.

For those multiplugs, they always come with long cables. Try to cut them short and don't coil them, if your load is high.

Noted. i coiled them, will release them when i get back home. :thanks:

Everything's sold. Back in 2yrs time.
