What do you use to clean your glass

i just wipe it with wet cloth, from tap water; and wipe it again with dry cloth or paper towel.

Reefing since 2003
 4ft x 2ft x 2ft Mixed Reef (BB):-
50 Gal Sump,

Im using news paper with magic glass cleanner.. the one we use to clean house mirror...better to spray at yr paper then clean the glass to prevent the solution to enter yr tank water...

Tally:

Normal cloth - 1

Newspaper - 9

Micro-fiber cloth - 1

I will try newspaper, and probably find the micro fiber cloth for other purposes.

Feel free to add on to this post

For silicone stain, any petroleum based fluid will work - kerosene, diesel, turpentine.

What if the stain is in the tank ? o.o Do i drain it ? Just wondering

If the stain is already in the tank, i'd just use a blade to scrape off as much as possible.

Use cleaning fluids (eg turpentine) only when its a new/empty tank.
