What do you use to clean your glass

My fishes splashes water and when I clean it with cloth it leaves behind a translucent layer. Was wondering if you guys have any tips as to cleaning the tank?

i just wipe it with wet cloth, from tap water; and wipe it again with dry cloth or paper towel.

Im using news paper with magic glass cleanner.. the one we use to clean house mirror...better to spray at yr paper then clean the glass to prevent the solution to enter yr tank water...

Wouldn't the newspaper "leak" ink and make the tank black black de?

I use newspaper with water. Newspaper for cleaning glass is magic. Dont be afraid to try, cheap and effective

Micro-fiber cloth - 1

I will try newspaper, and probably find the micro fiber cloth for other purposes.

If the stain is already in the tank, i'd just use a blade to scrape off as much as possible.

Use cleaning fluids (eg turpentine) only when its a new/empty tank.
