how do dead anemones look like?

mouth gaping.. have some gooey substance(mucus like layer) around it. Very ominous looking one lah.. If it's dead you'll confirm know by it's looks.

hmm.. actually its quite obvious cos' pieces of it will come out.. D :

when u disturb it and no reaction at all, even moving it. then its dead. U cant judge by eye sight. Only can guess. If the anemone base and tentacles totally went very pale, it will be dead soon. And if left very less amount of tentacles, u can start getting ready for its funeral. Thought ur anemone is in bad shape last few days ago.
