Qn on feeding dried cyclopeeze

I've been feeding my corals/fish using cyclopeeze for abt 1 month... i realised that they loved it. (dried cyclopeeze).

However, i noticed there are always a lot that is floating on the surface of the water everytime i feed.

Does everyone experience this? (or izzit just mine?)

i usually prepare a small tube consisting of frozen mysis+brine shrimps + some dried cyclopeeze (+ tank water to thaw) for abt 10mins before i start feeding.

My cotton wool filter @ the main tank overflow, gets stained with cyclopeeze from those floating on the surface and its really a waste... (not to mention the mess it leaves behind)

Like to know is there any other methods of feeding cyclopeeze without them floating on the surface?

TIA.

Dried or frozen? Never knew corals like dried food!..

If dried you can try soaking in water and then tearing smaller pieces.. It should sink.. I always do that to dried krill..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Simple... make a DIY food ring.. I use a water tubing bent it into a circle (more or less) and connected it with a tubing elbow.

Then I used one of em suckers to stick it to the side of the tank... so any dried food goes into the food ring, when it soaks up enough water it will automatically sink...

or get one of those tubiflex worm feeders and cut/saw off the cone part and voila! food ring... more pro looking too... :D

or can just buy if you don't want to make... I know clementi florist sells...
