Dead lionfish stuck in the LR

My lionfish is dead but its stuck in the live rock.Worries if the water quality gets bad and other fish + some corals die.What should i do???

How old is your tank?

What kind of filtration system?

Most of the time dunn have to worry one.. They will decompose and everything back to normal.. But Lionfish ar.. Got poison one.. dunno will it affect other species or not..

I think dunn have to worry too much.. Your tank quite big.. One mth somemore.. Maybe can add into the cycling process.. Hehehe..

try to remove it if possible.. gonna take a long time to decompose leh.. and risk infecting the rest of the tank if it died of diseases... not worth the risk..

Don't use your hands! I was told that you can still get stung.

Dun risk an ammonia spike from decomposing carcasses.... especially one as big as a lionfish.

Use your tongs to try removing it out... dun use your hands unless wearing thick gloves. Or use a net.

If you want to let your bristleworm, pods or hermit crabs finish the job... you still need to remove the bones and spines left behind.

Amazingly my dead lionfish is gone not even the bone seen.Thanks to cycle.I'd did poured half a bottle.
