Hi guys..wanna know if any guys know what does the 20degree mean in the refractometer scale....below is the picture of it...will be glad if anyone could explain to me...tha ks:)

Temperature of the tested water has to be 20 to show the correct salinity.

In my opinion i dun think i will chill my water to 20degree to test salinity.

Ignore the 20degree , it's all about calibration , calibrate the refractometer with pure distilled water set at 1.000 .

U can get the temperature to 0degree but if the refractometer is not calibrated you'll get false reading.

if you really want 20deg water .. U don't have to chill your whole tank to 20deg ,chill just the few drops will do ...

Chill a few drops and then test the salinity seemed to be very troublesome..

Imagine preparing a barrel of salt water is already troublesome enough, and still must get the drops chilled? Haha no time to wait..

Get a ATC make and it will resolve this problem.
