HI ALL! I have finally started setting up my new tank recently. After having the old beast tank crash on me, due to multiple reasons(no waterchanges at all for 8 months, overacumulation of trace elements and detritus, and repeated overheating of the tank), i have decided to learn from my mistakes and restart the system.

My equiptment list:

3l zeovit reactor

2 little fishies phosban reactor

1/4hp chiller

90gallon slanted display tank

Vertex omega 150g

4 tube 4 feet delighting t5

Reef octopus 6000

1 wp60

1 wp40 (modded)

2 wp25

MM03 dosing pump

This system will rely on zeovit (basic 4) and aio to maintain ulnsw with heavy feeding. Zeostones will be at 3/4 recomended volume, and aio will be at half of recomended volume to prevent over stripping of the water

With the glass

Ill post pictures of the current fts later. The glass bottom has been spray painted with krylon fusion white gloss and white matte paint. This tank will be bare bottom because of the amount of shit sand traps over time

Who your tank maker ? Looks like Henry's DT during his time at west coast

The tank maker is CRA. Had very good service with them and workmanship is not bad as well

Nice, camping here!!

The dt is slanted to increase the viewing height of the tank without increasing volume and vertical height. So its easier to clean and reach the bottom of the tank

Bottom has been spraypainted white but due to it being my first time spray painting, the bottom is very blotchy. Thus i have to sandpaper the spraypaint until its smooth now

Nice tank , unique !!

You spray paint the inside of the tank? Why not the bottom side of the tank and bytheway is Spray paint is reef safe?

Thanks. I was just waiting for someone to ask that question hahahaha. If i spray paint the bottom the glass color will be refracted so the tank will still look like a normal bare bottom. The spray paint is reef safe. Inert when dried and has been proven by other overseas reefers

My only piece of live rock relaxing in its vinegar jacuzzi. Skipping the chlorox sauna because of time constraints.

The live rock should be free of phosphates by the time im done. I added 7.5 bottles of vinegar to the pail, and ill add 2.5 more bottles when i flip the rock to clean the whole rock
