Nitrate still high

Hi I been cycling fishless for 2 month ago and just check my water all normal except the nitrate is so high between 50 to 100 ppm (sera test kit exp. 03 2019)

What the problem ?

My 1st Tank (FOWLR)

4.5ft x 2.5ftx 3ft 15mm with Cabinet & Tank

2x Two Little Fishie 150 Reactor (Rowaphos & Rowacarbon)

1x Two Little Fishie 300 Reactor (Biopellet)

Reef Octupos SRO-3000INT Skimmer

Teco Chiller TR20 1/3hp with UV

Vortech MP40ES Wavemotion

JBJ auto top-up

Eheim 1264 Return Pump

9 Stage Ro Water

Neptunes Sys Aqua Controller (PH, ORP, Temp,Conductivity,Salinity and Email Alert)

What the problem ?

It s very normal bro.

No3 is the outcome of ur cycling.

So you need to do water change, or bio pellets, reef resh, carbon dosing. ...., many way to remove them.

do u run biopellet ?

wah no biopellet lei...I tot cycling would be jus as normal the nitrate should drop to 0ppm as there is nothing there.

I only got few pack of ceramic ring inside and sponge filter inside the overflow compartment...no rock and sand yet that all

It will drop to zero after about 2 years maybe? Then your bacteria of ammonia and nitrite would go back to zero... Then when you put livestock in, fishes will die cos there's no more bacteria to convert ammonia to nitrate to nitrate.
