new tank cycle

Hi reefers. Gonna start my tank to cycle next week... should i just buy NSW for nitrogen cycle or mix my salt with ro/di water?? Or should i use nsw,n do 50% water change with salt mix after cycle?

You have to add an ammonia source & bacteria source to start cycling. After cycling for 3-4 weeks test for nitrates and perform water changes to bring down the nitrates.

Always something more important than fish.

Don't waste money, yr tank needs to go thr the cycling process to be ready. Yes, he is the guy always in frag room siphoning dirt from tanks. U can engage him for yr tank maintenance... Lol.
