yellow toadstool and anemone not sticking to rock..

Hi, added one yellow toadstool and an anemone to tank yesterday.. Toadstool grips for a while.. Then lying down again.. Anemone in wandering mode... Anyways to make toadstool stick.. Web says rubber band . can it be done?? Also can u pls I'd the anemone.. ?? Any specific prob with these two specimen... Thanks...

Anemone like rocks with a recess/hole where it can anchor itself & feel secure. They don't like flat surfaces

Toadstool sort of found a place.. but still not fixed.. Anemone is in search .. not will to leave the glass wall..

Anenome will keep moving around till it finds a comfortable spot to settle. That being said, they might just decide one day to move again so maksure if u have any wavemaker put a mesh around it to prevent it from being suck in.

okay, he is still wandering one corner of the tank.. how abt fixing it with epoxy?? one friend here suggested to do so.. but really intimidated to do it.. how people here make them sit or fix them at one place along with other soft corals..i wonder..

Anemone moves for a good reason. You glue it, it will mati. Simple as that...

Let them move until they found a place that makes them happy.

Got another method, cut a short piece of PVC pipe, put the anemone on top and it foot will slowly stick into the PVC hole, after done, feed it with foods, make it feel this place is safe and secure. Then now you can move it to any places you like ( ps : you may try but no 100% guarantee work
