Best way to clear glass algae

I'm running a fowlr. Every time after water change, 2nd day starts growing again. And by 4th day, it's covering the whole tank.

Anyone can recommend best best best effective way to clear all this Algae ?

my fowlr only has blue lights on, only when i want to view the fishes will i turn on all the lights..

clean the glass once every 2 weeks.. not sure if this is good for my fishes though..

The best effective way is to reduce the PO4 by running GFO media, but not cheap. Perhaps you can try to reduce the light on time to minimise it problem since you only FOWLR tank

Need to check your light regime, reduce nutrient in your tank and make sure the water you top up or change are filtered. Monitor your Po4.

Reduce nutrients and get an algae scrubber should do the trick. U can diy ur own algae scrubber. Save cost.

If you are looking at a short term solution for the time being, I recommend getting a glass cleaner/scrubber. Those that comes with blades are especially useful and effective. I use this every week to keep my glass clear of algae. Just my 2 cents

Try turbo snail bro. My 2 turbo snail clean up my live rock full of algae in 2 week to totally clean. Very impress with these little fellow.

Since ur running a fowlr tank I would suggest u reduce the light intensity or hours that it's switched on and reduce feeding to lower nutrients

Big skimmer + tonnes of bio filter + ATS. reducing lighting period reducing feeding are only short term solution.

Talking about Turbo Snails to help in reducing the Glass Algae ..... Does this Fish poses a threat to Turbo Snails ???

It killed my Cleaner Shrimp.

Hi, does the snail deposit eggs on the glass? How do you prevent it?
