Qt tank no need to put skimmer . Jus keep change water once a week will do .

I am using 9002. Research 9001 too, freshnmarine has a demo set in active. Good powerful compact skimmer, if you dont mind the small amt of micro bubbles in ur tank tho.

I'm on 9004 at the moment and even with thick skimmate, my collection cup fills up within 4-5 days. 9001 has a way smaller collection cup and this might really be a problem.

50L. 7 fishes 1 star and 1 shrimp. Feeding quite abit too

Just to share, can use the skimmer cup for those air stone skimmer which comes with a airtube outlet on 9002 so that the skimmate can be released into a bigger container.

I bought this skimmer. Have a pilot trial on my 2 feet tank yesterday evening. Managed to pull some nice skimmate this morning. Together with mce300 side by side. I observed Tunze provide comparable result and almost silent.
