Is there a reason why white mushrooms turn brown?

I always tot mushrooms would start to bleach when lightings are not correct... never expected my white mushroom rock to turn brown..

BTW my Yumas, Ric are doing fine with my PL and MH lights (alternating between the lights)..

Is it possible that the mushrooms are not actually white .

I think you should be happy to see this, as your tank are doing fine, and that's why the originally bleach (aka white) mushroom is colouring up to it's healthy state, i.e. brown colour.

bro dont worry whos know ur brown mushroom might turn out to be red or pink just need time for the colour to change

nah. cheap cheap.. infact, it was only in small polyps too but grew bigger after few weeks...
